Lindos is located 20km from Rhodos City. It is famous for its archeological sites. The Temple of Athena lies on top of the mountains, at an altitude of 400m. Directly under the Acropolis you will find the small cube houses of the 3500 year old town. 15km from Prassonissi. Prasonissi is connected to the main body of Rhodes by a 1000-meter-long sandbank. The beach is sandy and is a windsurfing paradise. Prassonissi is the southernmost point of the island. When the sea floods the land-bridge connecting the two islands, it becomes a small island. Two seas meet here: the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Generally it is windy. A perfect destination for surfing. On the beach you'll find a restaurant and several shops. 65km from Rhodes city. The main attraction of the island is the old town. From the tower you can see Turkey on the horizon. The old town has a special atmosphere. In the newer part of the city there are discos and night clubs.
